Production Engineer

Responsible for providing engineering support to assigned Plant production departments by one or more of the following methods:
1) continuous improvement of machinery, 2) appropriation of new machinery, or 3) process improvements.

Essential Duties (Other duties may be assigned as necessary)
1) Oversees development of improvements to existing processes. Coordinates projects between Engineering, Manufacturing and Maintenance personnel to make these improvements.
2) Basic understanding of turning, milling, grinding and deburring equipment and able to coordinate new process development and training on that type of equipment.
3) Operation of personal computer for purposes of design, documentation, and process development and improvement.
4) Coordinate installation of new equipment, including development of machine and piping layouts using ACAD; determining utility requirements; writing requests for quotes; coordinating activities of multiple contractors.
5) Writing work instructions utilizing Microsoft Office products for setup, troubleshooting and maintenance of new and existing equipment.
6) Develop and recommend improved quick-set procedures and fixtures.
7) Analyze methods and develop improved concepts to reduce direct, indirect and set-up labor.
8) Ability to analyze, recommend and implement profit improvement programs.
9) Analyze material handling needs and recommend improved state of the art methods and equipment.
10) Develop and establish production standards utilizing accepted work measurement techniques.
11) Knowledge of safe manufacturing practice necessary for recommendation and implementation of safety
programs.
12) Apply Statistical Problem Solving principles in a variety of manufacturing environment.
13) Interaction with other departments and personnel and natural ability to be a team player.
14) Support the Plant quality system's goals / improvements & productivity goals / improvements within the scope of the job.
15) Support the Plant safety programs / goals within the scope of the job.

Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in an appropriate engineering discipline (Manufacturing/Production, Mechanical, Industrial, Engineering Management) is preferred; or a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in an Engineering Technology plus three to five years of additional manufacturing experience.
Experience:
Prefer 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
