Collects and studies data to reveal potential improvement areas.
Identify and interpret patterns and trends, assess data quality, and turn this information into solutions as dictated by store needs.
You will develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

None Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
1.
Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store 2.
Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee's designated department or elsewhere in the store.
3.
Makes an effort to learn customers' names and to address them by name whenever possible.
4.
Assists customers by:
a.
escorting them to the products they're looking for b.
securing products that are out of reach c.
loading or unloading heavy items d.
making note of and passing along customer suggestions or requests e.
performing other tasks in every way possible to enhance the shopping experience 5.
Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
6.
Assists director with price changes and optimizes pricing, achieve gross profit goals and desired competitive position in the market.
7.
Assists management in monitoring and making recommendations to reduce shrinkage.
8.
Monitors store expenses, reporting results/findings to management.
9.
Makes recommendations for cross merchandising around ads and displays.
10.
Optimize pricing on buys, identify pricing/brand parity issues.
11.
Develops strategies to respond to sales, trends, and competitor pricing.
12.
Works with management team to ensure the accuracy of data reporting to Profit Analysis.
13.
Assists in providing movement history for holidays, events, seasonal, and ad items.
14.
Maintains schedule for the monthly review of inventory reporting.
15.
Ensures procedures are in place to monitor obsolete inventory, inventory verification.
16.
Reviews planogram utilization and monitors discontinued items, new item placement and section resets.
17.
Ensures the proper execution of all promotional campaigns, including digital and loyalty promotions.
18.
Provides Managers and Department Managers with weekly reports such as Item Ranking, Loyalty Program, Blend Sheets, Labor, Ad Projections and Actuals.
19.
Uses excel to combine data from existing reports into new and custom reports.
20.
Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines.
21.
Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
Secondary Duties and
Responsibilities:
1.
Assists Product Management department as needed.
2.
Provides education to existing employees regarding new policies and procedures.
3.
Provides general computer or basic tech support and assists in updating the store website.
4.
Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Additional schooling with an emphasis on IT, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering preferred; 1-3 years previous related work experience.
Physical Requirements:
o Visual requirements include:
ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
o Must be physically able to perform sedentary work:
occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking.
o Must be able to perform the following physical activities:
stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.

The duties of this position are mostly performed in a combination of office and retail store settings.
This position may be exposed to dust, noise, and temperature extremes.
There are possible hazards from moving equipment and possible electrical shock.
There is constant pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a day.
This is a fast paced work environment.
Equipment Used to Perform Job:
PC and printer with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, E-mail, Internet explorer, cash registers, handheld wireless scanners, electronic scales, calculator, telephone, and FAX machine.
Financial Responsibility:
None.
Contacts:
Has daily contact with store personnel, suppliers/vendors, customers, and the general public.
Occasional contact with federal or state regulatory agencies regarding inspections.
Confidentiality:
Has access to confidential information including payroll, inventory costs, sales, accounts payable and receivable, pharmacy data, e-mail messages, pricing, sales reports, profit and loss reports, and all data related to operations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
